1. Who we are

AI Teacher Assistant is a free web platform built by a solo founder in India for Indian college and university teachers and their students.

2. What we collect

• Account data — your name, role (teacher/student), department, mobile number and the Gmail you registered with, so you can sign in and we can help with password recovery.
• What you create — question papers, presentations, practical sheets, attendance and result analysis, quizzes and your chat history. This content belongs to you and is used only to run the tool for you.
• Usage logs — we count how many AI queries a user makes per day (to enforce a fair daily limit) and keep basic security logs to stop abuse.

3. What we do NOT collect

• We never ask for Aadhaar, PAN or any government ID.
• We never sell, rent or trade your data to anyone.
• We do not show advertisements and do not build advertising profiles.
• We do not collect data from school-going children or minors — the platform is for colleges and universities.

4. How your data is processed

Content you generate is processed on our servers (Google Cloud, region Asia) and, only for AI-powered tools, briefly passed to the AI provider that generates your output. Uploaded files are handled only to produce the result you asked for. Everything is transmitted over HTTPS.

5. Cookies

We use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. Short-lived cookies are used for security checks (like password-reset links) and are deleted automatically. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention and your control

• You can clear or edit your chat history in the app at any time.
• You can contact us to delete your account and all associated data.
• You can stop using the platform at any time — you owe us nothing.
